PWT Luseland
Prairie West Terminal Expands

The Board of Directors of Prairie West Terminal Ltd. (PWT) are pleased to announce the purchase of the grain handling and crop input retail location in Luseland, Saskatchewan from James Richardson International. The primary assets consist of a 6170mt (227,000 bushels) wood composite grain elevator, 20’ X 50’ chemical warehouse and nine 60 mt fertilizer storage bins.

“The purchase of the Luseland facility accomplishes several goals for PWT. First, it assists in maintaining the long-term viability of the rail line. Secondly, our market area extends and taps into a larger customer base. Thirdly, it provides the producers in the Luseland market area a competitive choice. Finally the purchase has given PWT the asset base to enter into the crop input retail business…It is a win - win for everyone” stated General Manager Andy Travers.

PWT will commence operations at Luseland immediately following an inspection and testing to ensure the assets are functioning up to industry standards.

Prairie West Terminal is locally owned and operated Grain Company, with its head office located between the villages of Dodsland and Plenty, Saskatchewan.
